Exclusive details about Xiaomi’s new flagship device codenamed Project Zhuque have emerged. According to the leak, Zhuque aims to offer an unprecedented smartphone experience by getting rid of physical buttons. The Chinese company wants to create a full-screen experience.
Xiaomi targets 2025 for buttonless phone
Xiaomi is rumored to be exploring gesture controls, pressure-sensitive edges and even voice commands to control the device without physical keys. This would allow for thin bezels and a full-size screen design.
It was stated that Xiaomi is also exploring under-screen cameras optimized for full-screen design. Project Zhuque will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4 chipset coded SM8775. Other specifications such as display, battery and cameras are unknown, but it is possible to say that it will appeal to the high-end market.
